Steamed Cheeseburger History

The steamed cheeseburger is known to date back to Jack’s Lunch in Middletown, Connecticut as far back as the 1920’s or 1930’s. Since then steamed cheeseburgers have been added onto so many restaurants menus in the Connecticut Area.

Our Story

The journey of our Steamed Cheeseburger Maker LLC first started as an idea in the spring of 2018. Over time after eating several delicious steamed cheeseburgers, we found that most people had to go to a restaurant that were only based in Connecticut. We decided that steamed cheeseburgers should be easily available to anyone in any state and not just in restaurants but to be easily be made at home. Later, the details of a drawing was started based on the older made steaming trays that were used in restaurants and we got to work on improving the design to be easy to use, easy to clean, and most importantly available for people to make at home.

 

After the three years a working and visually appealing final design of our first model of the steamed cheeseburger maker, we had a working prototype by the spring of 2019 and had started testing soon after.

 

Testing the product was one of the fun parts. As we wanted to make sure this food grade silicone product did indeed make the best steamed cheeseburger you can make. Our testing also helped compile the our first basic recipes to make cheeseburgers all the way to vegan burgers.

Steamed Cheeseburger Maker officially became a registered LLC in the state of Connecticut in February of 2020. Steamed Cheeseburger Maker is still new but making every effort to grow not only a business but also grow a steamed cheeseburger community.
